I was a professional actor living in New York City for many years. I have worked as an actor in 46 states, including a national tour. I co-founded a professional theatre company in Illinois called Festival 56. I have been the Casting Director for all 20 of their seasons and continue to spend time each year touring the country, watching 800-1200 artists audition.

I have directed and/or choreographed over 48 fully realized productions, several staged readings, and organized/hosted more cabarets than I can count. I have written and produced a handful of plays and TYA productions.

I have a Bachelor of Art in Theatre; and I did an internship in performance at Maine State Music Theatre.

I have taught and written programs for numerous theatre camps and classes including Auditioning Master Classes for: University of Southern Florida, Rhode Island College, Nantucket Dreamland Theatre, and Mid-Michigan Vocal Academy. I have taught acting and auditioning classes in several schools and community organizations including: St. Mary’s Academy, Bureau Valley High School, Midland High School, Putnam County High School, Princeton High School, Leepertown School, Saginaw Arts and Sciences Academy, Garber High School, Midland Center for the Arts, River Valley Players, Pit and Balcony Theatre, and Creative 360. 

I am an adjudicator, and was a reviewer with the Great Lakes Bay Region Reviewers Circle. I founded The Michigan MOMsemble, a group of incredibly talented performing moms, and I am an acting and audition coach.
